Before You Get Up

Life can be difficult and down right rotten at times. So how is it possible to combat the day to day stress? There is but one way to do that. Jesus has the answer: "Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." How do we seek Him first? By spending time with Him in His Word. God wants to take each one of us on a journey away from our worries and cares, and to healing a wholeness each and every morning. As soon as our eyes open, this is the opportunity that we have to seek God. We are not guarunteed a tomorrow, and so we need to be ready! He has the answers for the stresses that are going to confront you, and only He has the ability to prepare us for the day. Maybe you are discouraged, but don't stay that way. Go to Jesus and He will encourage you! He has just the advice and help that you need! So although this is a short post, remember Jesus Words: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
